Chiropractic Biophysics of Idaho is located in West Boise and is convenient for residents of Meridian, Eagle and other surrounding communities. We utilize a unique chiropractic technique called Chiropractic Biophysics®, or CBP® for short. Chiropractors that use CBP® technique have an overall goal to restore posture and spinal structure to normal alignment. Methods include Mirror Image® posture adjustments, Mirror Image® rehabilitative posture exercises, spinal traction, and other manual procedures. In CBP®, the overall posture or global positioning of the spine is targeted for correction, as opposed to individual spinal segments. Conditions that are successfully managed with this technique include headaches, migraines, neck pain, mid back pain, low back pain, hip pain, shoulder pain, "slipped" discs, chronic fatigue, scoliosis and numbness and tingling in the hands or feet.
The CBP® Technique
CBP® is a specialized chiropractic technique practiced by thousands of chiropractors around the world. CBP® doctors specialize in correcting abnormal spinal structure; for example, the angle of curvature in your low back or neck. Research has shown that abnormal spinal structure places increased pressure on the bones of the spine and the discs and even the spinal cord. This is the cause of many cases of headaches, neck pain, mid back pain, low back pain and radiating pain into the arms/legs, as well as numbness and/or tingling in hands/feet. With structural correction as the main goal, hunchback curves, rounded shoulders and scoliosis are also treated with great success.
Dr. Joe Betz was one of the first chiropractors in the world to achieve the Advanced Certification by Chiropractic Biophysics, Inc. He is a current instructor and researcher for CBP Seminars®. Click Here to read more about Dr. Betz and his professional accomplishments.
